The May Guzzette newsletter is ready for download.

The 'Guzzette' continues to reflect the spirit and cameraderie that makes our club a lively focal point for our Moto Guzzi passion. Breakfast meetings, rides, rallies and campouts both near and far are covered.

Contributions on Guzzi in particular and motorcycles in general are encouraged. Submissions should be sent in MS Word with relevant pictures via email to Rich at richoberdorfer@gmail.com. An April issue is expected to follow, thereafter bimonthly until further notice.

Our logo has also changed and the public facing club name is now Oregon Moto Guzzi Owners Club. We are still affiliated with the Moto Guzzi National Owners Club (MGNOC). Oregon State Rep Gerri Jenkins, responsible for the organization and hosting of numerous State and National rallies with the help of Gary Jenkins and other stalwarts has passed the baton to Jake Heilman. MC of meetings is now Frank Hebbeln. More background on the new club committee will follow in next editions of the newsletter.

The Oregon Moto Guzzi Owners Club (OMGOC), affiliated to the National Owners Group (MGNOC), is an active group of motorcycle enthusiasts who enjoy the mystique, unique craftsmanship and riding pleasures provided by the historic Italian marque. We are family-oriented. Children are welcome at all meetings and events with the exception of our annual Christmas Party.

2016 MGNOC National Rally

For the second time in recent years, in June of 2016 our club hosted the MGNOC National Rally at the City of John Day's Grant County Fairgrounds in Eastern Oregon. Over 300 enthusiasts attended riding in from as far away as Massachusetts. Temperatures in the 80's, empty roads and a host of activities such as Field Games, Bike Show and Awards Ceremony made for an outstanding event enjoyed by all who attended. Professional quality photos by Rex, the rally photographer, can be viewed and purchased here.

Monthly Meetings

We organize many events during the year including at least four annual campouts and have monthly breakfast meetings which are open to anyone interested in our club. Our members cover a broad spectrum of individuals who enjoy and ride bikes such as tiddlers, cruisers and sport-tourers.
