A memorial service was held for Don Stowe Saturday, February 25th at the Moose Lodge at 16411 NE Halsey. Eight club members attended.

The service was informal. Don's nephew spoke about his relationship with his uncle; then relatives, friends and coworkers from the Boeing plant contributed their personal recollection of him. He was a Lifetime Member of the MGNOC and our Oregon club.

Don died January 3rd, 2006 rather suddenly. He was found sitting in his chair apparently watching TV. He had been suffering from a rare lung disorder, sleep apnea and developed a very bad staph infection in his eye. He had been in failing health the past few years.

Motorcycling was a great pleasure to Don and a big part of his life. He loved the Moto Guzzi Club and will be missed.
